The challenge aimed to encourage everyone to increase their walking, so they feel healthier, have fun, improve their wellbeing, and stay connected with their colleagues.
Entries closed on 11 February and since 15 February our three teams have been out and about enjoying their local area and getting their step count up.
Our teams were made up of;
- Lesley Middleton, Irina Chirila and Sarah Robertson – Lockdown Independent Strollers
- Crystal Boston, Tara Aldwin and Zeeshan Hussain– Walking 9 to 5
- Daniela Bianchi, Tony Bianchi and Carl Brown– FKCA Uno
So, how did we do? The Foxley Kingham teams came in at second, seventh and twelfth place.
Team FKCA UNO did fantastic to take second place, and in total Daniela Bianchi, Tony Bianchi and Carl Brown walked 1,855,787 steps!
In seventh place team Walking 9 to 5, Crystal Boston, Tara Aldwin and Zeeshan Hussain also impressingly racked up over one million steps – 1,093,858 to be exact.
The Lockdown Independent Strollers, Lesley Middleton, Irina Chirila and Sarah Robertson also did a grand 885,096 steps between them over the four week challenge.
